This May we ran our first CelebriTEA Consultant tea blending contest. We asked all our fabulous Independent Tea Consultants to craft a new tea from any of the teas available on our website. We received so many amazing and unique tea blends. Having to select only one tea was incredibly difficult, but we know you'll love our newest tea, Peach Melba!
Tea Consultant Julie Ann Westwater submitted Peach Melba, a delectable blend of white tea, rooibos, and honeybush. Fresh peaches and summer fruit dance with the sweet and creamy flavors of vanilla. This blend is accented with hints of tart raspberry and delicate rose.
Julie Ann describes the inspiration for her tea blend in a touching story about her family. "The inspiration for this dessert-worthy Peach Melba tea comes from my daughter, and the credit goes to my mother, who often served her guests (even if it only happened to be my daughter and me) in elegant stemmed glassware, a delectable summer-fresh peach half filled with vanilla ice cream, and artfully topped with our own three generation homemade raspberry jam. A beautiful treat for the senses, and for us, a sweet memory."

Because we fell in love with so many of the amazing blends that were submitted, we'd like to recognize two runners up who stood out with their delicious flavors. Even though these blends may not have been crowned the new CelebriTEA, we hope you'll brew them up for yourself and see why we had to give them a shoutout.
Looking for a quick getaway to an island paradise? So was Tea Consultant Trina Greene who said, "In Minnesota we don’t get many days at the beach unless you enjoy snow covered ones. I chose this flavor because an escape to paradise even for a few seconds during -40 degree weather would be pure bliss." She submitted Island Dreams, an exotic blend of mango, passion fruit, and coconut.

Sometimes you need a warm gooey cookie, but who wants to wait around for them to bake or worry about the calories? Tea Consultant Mayna McVey solved those problems with her Cookie-nut Monkey blend. We were blown away by how delicious this blend was. It tasted just like biting into a fresh cookie! The blend of the three types of teas intrigued us as well as Mayna, she herself saying, "I was surprised at how bright and balanced the combination of the three were."
